PlaySport-USA has been set up to help athletes find the best opportunities where they can combine their hobbies of playing sport and their ambitions of chasing a high standard of educational opportunity, whether with or without scholarship.
PlaySport-USA founder, Ben Howarth, has experienced the rigours and demands of NCAA sport first hand having spent 2 years as an Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Northeastern University, where he helped the team to a CAA Post season final, and a CAA regular season title. In this role, Ben was directly involved with all aspects of recruiting for the Northeastern Huskies, including the recruitment of overseas athletes. During this process he uncovered numerous factors that frustrate a lot of coaches, and thus PlaySport-USA has been set up to create a more efficient process for coaches, athletes and parents.

Potential students from all countries are welcome to contact PlaySport-USA to see how we may be able to help you. Due to our base in Europe, we are more regularly in communication with potential student athletes from the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Spain; however we have great contacts in the southern hemisphere as well including South Africa, Australia and New Zealand!!
